Coco’s Animal Welfare Celebrated Three Kings Day
Coco’s Animal Welfare Celebrated Three Kings Day in a small village in Playa Del Carmen. They brought medical care for the people and their animals. They also provided gifts of clothing and toys for this little village to celebrate Three Kings Day. I was impressed at how a non-profit organization could do so much. Mind you, this little village is quit large. They have built their homes under the power lines of Playa Del Carmen. The jungle has been cleared for the purpose of the lines. But these people live with out electricity and running water in their own homes.
The event started with a puppet show and a musical artist.
Their purpose was to educate the village on health care for their families and pets.
It was such a wonderful sight to see everyone participating in the show.
.
Eyes and ears were wide open.
Everyone packed in to see the show.
Then GVI Mexico (Glogal Vision International) http://www.gvi.co.uk/volunteer-in-mexico/ served traditional Mexican bread to the village.
Then it was time for the gifts. Bags upon bags had been hauled out. They were full of much needed clothes and shoes.
A local doctor and veterinarian where handing out medication and advice on how to take care of themselves, their children and their pets.
I want to thank Coco’s for their hard work, generosity and HUGE hearts. Paying it forward through education and giving!
